Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Beacon Cañon City Spray Foam Insulation to do. When you browse our home page, send us a request or sign an estimate, you agree to them, so please read them before you book.

If a signed estimate or written agreement for your job says something different from this page, the signed paper wins for that job.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor in Cañon City, CO, and we insulate and air seal homes and commercial buildings in Cañon City, Pueblo West and the cities around them. That covers spray foam, blown-in and batt insulation, removal of old material, air sealing and vapor barriers in attics, walls, crawl spaces and basements. You can read more about our crew on our About page.

We're fully licensed and insured. Anything on this website describes our services in general terms and isn't a quote, a promise of results or advice for your particular house.

Estimates and pricing

We give free quotes on site, and they're obligation-free. Your estimate is based on what we can see and measure at the visit, such as the size of the space, what's already up there, how easy it is to reach and the material you pick.

Some things only show up once the job is open, like soaked or contaminated insulation, droppings or damaged framing. If we find something that changes the work or the price, we'll stop, show you and get your OK before we do anything extra.

An estimate holds for the period written on it. After that, material costs can change and we may need to update it.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll set a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material delays or a problem on an earlier job can push a date, and if that happens we'll call you as early as we can and set a new one.

On the day, we need clear access to the work area and somewhere to park our equipment. If we can't get in or the space isn't ready, we may have to reschedule.

Some work, especially spray foam, means you, your kids and your pets need to stay out for a while. We'll tell you before we start when it's safe to come back in, and you agree to follow those instructions.

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, call us or use our contact page as soon as you know. If we've already ordered special materials for your job, the cost of those may be due as your estimate states.

Payment

Payment is due as written on your estimate or invoice, including any deposit and when the balance is due. We'll tell you up front which payment methods we take.

If a balance goes unpaid past its due date, we may stop work and take the steps Colorado law allows to collect it.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the job we did isn't right, tell us and we'll come back and look at it.

Insulation and foam products carry the maker's own warranty, and we pass that along to you as the maker offers it. We don't warrant against problems we didn't cause, such as roof or plumbing leaks, pests, moisture from other sources, later work by others or damage from misuse.

Apart from what this section and your written estimate say, and to the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, spoken or implied, including any about energy savings or a lower power bill.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Colorado law allows, Beacon Cañon City Spray Foam Insulation isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of your home, lost income or higher utility costs.

If we are found responsible for a loss, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the job in question. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

If we disagree

Call us first. Most problems get fixed with a conversation, and we'd rather come back out than argue.

If we can't sort it out together, either of us may take the matter to a Colorado state court in the county where the work was done.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. A job you've already signed for stays under the terms in place when you signed.
